Every asset, all year round
A single Material Parameter Collection turns every asset to spring, summer, autumn or winter: snow on up-facing faces, frost, wetness, puddles and autumn colour. Where a season changes the shape, the pack includes a variant mesh – 79 of them: flower boxes in their spring, autumn and winter states, woodpiles burnt down or snow-capped, benches, beehives, shrines, bus shelters and fountains under snow.
Drop the season switch Blueprint into your level, pick a season and press Apply Season: it sets the materials and swaps the variant meshes for you, in the editor and in play. Call the same function from your own day-night or weather system.
One camera, four seasons: snow settles on the woodpile and the bench, the geraniums come in for the winter.
